Kaohsiung Medical University / Prof. Cheng-Yu Long

 Pain Points Solved

  • Conventional muscle mass detection techniques rely heavily on manual operation and image interpretation, resulting in low evaluation efficiency and outcomes that are susceptible to subjective bias.
  • The system utilizes high-precision AI algorithms to automatically analyze muscle strength, elasticity, and power, significantly improving the accuracy and reliability of muscle mass assessment.
  • Real-time analysis reports are generated immediately after detection, reducing clinical evaluation time and assisting physicians in making faster and more scientifically based decisions.
  • By leveraging sound feature recognition and a trained prediction model, the system minimizes instrument errors and operational variations, ensuring consistent and objective evaluation results.

 Technology Introduction

A muscle mass detection system is used to solve the problem of inefficiency and questionable accuracy of conventional muscle mass detection techniques. Using high-precision AI algorithms, the device can provide real-time analysis reports on muscle conditions, including muscle strength, elasticity, and power, assisting physicians in making more scientifically based clinical decisions. Training a prediction model with a large number of sound features, the prediction model after training evaluates a mass status of a muscle part based on the corresponding sound features of the muscle part. The device can be applied in the following areas:
1.    Medical institutions with geriatric medicine departments.
2.    Daycare centers and long-term care facilities.
3.    Local government health centers and community activity centers.
