 Pain Points Solved 

We have developed exclusive cyanobacteria adversity cultivation technology and phycocyanin extraction technology to obtain high-quality, high-concentration phycocyanin. We provide phycocyanin medical bandage gels for rapid wound healing, phycocyanin medical serums, facial masks, phycocyanin pet skin cleansers, health supplements, and other products. Specifically targeting consumers, we offer cyanobacteria medical bandage gels and spray-on liquid bandages, aiming to capture the future market for rapid wound healing applications worth billions of dollars.

 Technology Introduction 

Using special cultivation conditions, Spirulina is cultured, and phycobiliproteins are extracted using special extraction technology. Phycocyanin, which has rapid wound healing effects, is then purified and applied to humans and pets, developing highly effective skincare and health food products with circular economy value. This technology participated in the 2023 Ministry of Education U-START Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan and won second place nationally.

 Application Examples 

Phycocyanin is a new compound extracted from Spirulina. Its physiological activities and efficacies cover antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immune enhancement, and wound healing properties. It can be used as a natural additive in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and health foods.

This raw material has been developed into several products, including medical liquid wound bandage gels in medical devices, cosmetic serums with wound repair efficacy, post-medical aesthetic repair masks, pet skin cleansers in pet supplies, and health supplements. It is specifically applicable to products requiring accelerated wound healing.

Microalgae carbon-negative technology and the carbon circular economy are important strategies for net-zero carbon emissions. Microalgae are the most efficient carbon-fixing organisms on Earth. Through microalgae photosynthesis, carbon dioxide can be converted into valuable biological resources, which not only reduces carbon emissions but also produces biomass energy, health foods, feed, fertilizer, and various biological products. We mass-produce microalgae using vertical photobioreactors to extract natural phycocyanin, applying its physiological activity to high-value consumer and medical applications, and actively expanding its potential for future applications.
