﹤Artificial Intelligence﹥TARFlow: Text Mining Workflow Design Platform

National Sun Yat-sen University / Professor San-Yih Hwang

As textual data continues to grow, analyzing the content embedded within text—whether for public opinion analysis, internal corporate knowledge management, or academic qualitative research—has become increasingly important. In the past, text analysis typically required programming skills, making it difficult for people without technical backgrounds to get started. Our platform automates the entire text analysis process through a no-code interface, enabling non-technical personnel to use it with ease. As a result, whether conducting public opinion analysis, sentiment analysis, or topic classification, tasks can be completed quickly, saving significant time and labor while making text mining technology truly applicable to everyday work.

 Technology Introduction

We have integrated common text analysis tools and designed them into a simple drag-and-drop interface that is very intuitive to use. Additionally, through partnerships with external data collection vendors, we can access multiple data sources, such as Facebook, Instagram, forums, and news outlets. This data can be used for applications like sentiment analysis of public opinion and topic classification. In recent years, we have also incorporated Large Language Model (LLM) technology, which enables more flexible assistance in data analysis.
