﹤AI、Smart Agriculture﹥Animal Management System

National Pingtung University of Science and Technology /  Prof. Chang Chung-Liang

 Pain Points Solved

To address the labor shortage in poultry farming and satisfy biosecurity requirements, a smart animal management robot system is used to achieve precise animal weight measurement and real-time health monitoring, thereby reducing labor costs and improving management efficiency.

 Technology Introduction

  • AI Chicken Weight Measurement and Anomaly Detection
  • Multi-factor Identification: Identifies animal activity levels and symptoms (including head, back, soles of feet, feces, and sound).
  • Real-time Feature Tagging and Dead Bird Transport
  • AIoT System: Detects ground moisture status and automatically turns the soil to improve the environment.

 Application Examples

  • Increases weight measurement efficiency by 80%; Health status judgment accuracy reaches 90%.
  • Automated transport, collection, classification, and isolation systems can save 60% of labor costs.
  • Real-time accurate health warning system saves approximately 50% of overall management labor costs.
